Jodi Rae Newton: Social Culture IE

Social Culture IE, an aesthetic firm and publication, is an awesome, local magazine that I have done (3) issues with so far; for both MODELLING and MAKE-UP! It has been a great experience and being able to meet David King and Alexandra Rose is just icing on top of the cake. The photographer, Alex, emailed me back in May 2010 and asked if I wanted to be a part of their shoot for their Premier Edition of the magazine. At first I was a little hesitant because on Model Mayhem, you never know who you are going to work with or what type of shoot it's really going to be like. I was also a little intimidated and thought that I wouldn't be good enough....but then I remembered something that Jasmine Star said: When you feel like giving up or that you're not good enough, it usually means that you're going to be pushed to the next level. So just do it whole heartedly and don't be afraid to take the risk!

I have to say now that I'm super excited and privileged to work for them and with them. The magazine is getting started and it has the potential to become huge. David is a creative genius and is also a fashion designer. He definitely knows a lot about this industry. Alex is a great photographer and such a sweet person. I'm so thankful to have both of them in my life.

My handsome husband even got in on some of the pictures. I don't know why he doesn't do it more often! He's definitely the most sexy man ever. Period. :)
